June 2023 Recap - Playtesting, Fulfillment, and Origins!

Time just keeps on flying by! We just got back form 4-days at Origins Game Fair in Columbus, OH, and Bernie completed his big Midwest trip where he visited game stores in Fargo, Sioux Falls, Omaha, Des Moines, Ames, and Minneapolis. Maybe you'll see some of our games in those store in the near future! :) There'll be some photos at the end of the newsletter for you to check out!

Apr 2023 Recap - Awards, Fulfillment, Manufacturing, and GAMA Expo!

It’s been a while since we updated our blog, and we realized that all the useful information about what we’re doing is sent out every month in our newsletter and Kickstarter updates, so why not put them here for everyone to see? So, we’ll start with last month’s update, and will post the May recap soon!

We have TONS of stuff to update on this month, and all of it is good news. The most exciting news is that Omicron Protocol has made it onto the list of Origins Awards finalists in the categories of "Best Miniatures Game" and "Best 3D Art" (for Jugger the Elephant)! The recognition has us over the moon right now (pun intended). A big "Thank you" to the jury for choosing us! We'll post official links to the nominations once they're officially announced. In the meantime, these are the photos I took at the Media First Look event at GAMA Expo.

The Bank Heist - Video Playthrough

Back in early summer we were looking for ways to involve you and the rest of our community more in the development of our game. Many of our game scenarios represent big plot points in our story arc, we had 2 scenarios ready which we had not written yet as stories and our friend William Brown at Hungry Gamer suggested we let our facebook community tell us what they wanted to see. First we had a vote on which scenario, and then assemble to the 2 teams to play.
